Two train meet at Cragin Junction. Chicago Illinois USA. July 2007.

I took this photo on the north platform of the Metra Grand / Cicero Avenue commuter rail station. A Canadian Pacific freight train has the right of way, and is entering the southbound Belt Railway of Chicago tracks at Cragin Junction.
The outbound Norfolk Southern freight train will have to wait for a westbound Metra express commuter train to pass before recieving clearance. The CP Rail train is traveling at speed, approximately 20 MPH past the station and onto the BRC interchange. Cragin Junction is the north terminal for the Belt Railway of Chicago, and here it interchanges with the CP Rail -ex Milwaukee Road mainline on Chicago's northside.
