I took this photo one morning, in late January of 2007. We are looking west on 50th Street, just west of South Lawndale Avenue toward Curie High School. ( I attended here from 1977 to 1981)An eastbound Chicago Transit Authority Orange line rapid transit train enroute to downtown Chicago, shatters the quiet of a cold winter morning as it approaches the underpass bridge on South Lawndale Avenue in Chicago's Elsdon / Archer Heights neighborhoods.
