I took this photo on a lovely Springtime afternoon in April of 1987. An eastbound Belt Railway of Chicago transfer train has just departed their nearby Clearing Yard facility, and is now approaching the Grand Trunk Western Railroad crosstracks at Hayford Junction. Hayford Junction is located at West 75th Street and South Central Park Avenue in Chicago's Ashburn neighborhood.
