I took this photo on a chartered bus excursion with a group from the Chicago Chapter of the Omnibus Society of America. The occasion was a special bus charter aboard a Kenosha Transit 1975 vintage GMC TDH series fishbowl windshield bus. There were still a handful of these operating on the Kenosha Transit bus fleet, but their use was mainly being limited to picking up local school students during the weekdays.
Part of our excursion itineraray included a trip to the Kenosha Transit bus garage, where I photographed this 1975 GMC bus near the open door with plenty of sunlight.
These buses have since been retired, and some are privately owned.
