I took this photo during a very bitterly cold Winter morning, in early January of 2008.

There has been a small derailment on one of the sidings at the Canadian National Railroad's former Illinois Central / Chicago & Illinois Western Crawford Yard at the Chicago city limits. A crew from Hulcher Rail Services has just arrived with heavy equipment and layers of clothing. It was approximately 5 to 10 degrees above zero Farenheight that morning, but with plenty of brilliant sunshine.
