Northbound Iowa, Chicago & Eastern transfer train. Hawthorne Junction. Chicago / Cicero Illinois. January 2007.





I took this photo on a brightly sunlit, but very bitterly cold Winter morning back in January of 2007.

A northbound Iowa, Chicago & Eastern Railroad transfer freight train, is viewed traveling northbound over the Belt Railway of Chicago, and passing through Hawthorne Junction at the Chicago city limits.
