The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana USA. Sunday, September 12th,2010.

I took this photo inside the cab of a meter guage 0-8-0 steam locomotive originally from the European Nation formerly known as East Germany, during My September 2010 visit to the Hesston Steam Museum in northwest Indiana.

One of the really nice and very educational things about visiting places like the Hesston Steam Museum, is that You can litterally see the steam era up close. The pleasant and informative members of the museum's volunteer operating railroad crews, can often explain the various guages, valves and mechanical gadgets to You if asked.
